I know, since it is my blog you think I am talking about my 50th birthday, but I am not!
This time I am referring to Clark's 50th state, Alaska. Friday he got this email..
There was a contest among the agents in this region from June to December and there were a few ways you could earn a fishing trip to Alaska. You could sell the most insurance in $ amounts or have the most applications or you could be picked from a drawing with one entry per application submitted during the contest. Clark won the drawing! (He did sell the second biggest case at the end of the year, but it hasn't closed, so it didn't count, so he deserved to win the drawing, in my opinion!!)
I thought our kids comments were pretty funny...
Tim: Way to go, Dad!
Merrili: Loves this.
Romney: Awesome! When do you get to go?
Scott: Awesome, that would be a blast.
Adam: This looks like spam.
Jordan: Romney meant to say when do WE get to go!
Maddy: Loves this.
Missy: Loves this.
Caleb: Give us the dates so we can clear our schedules!
Anyway, I am excited for him to finish his goal of going to all 50 states in such a fun way!

From one 50-state hunter to another, I send my heartfelt congratulations. It's a super fun accomplishment and a heck of a way to end it. I imagine you will simply love that trip!!! Way to go.
Ha ha... "This looks like spam." Alaska was one of my favorite vacations. The sky, mountains, ocean, wild life...it is all so grandiose. Congratulations!
So I am confused--do you get to go too? Do you get to celebrate "the fiftieth?"
